Hunt Showdown A Surprising Year In Review Stats For 2023

Hunt: Showdown has released some official stats via @HuntShowdown, their official Twitter. These graphic posts reveal some statistics about the bayou that surprised me. Let’s take a look at them.

Hunt Showdowns Hardest Boss: Scrapbeak
Hunt: Showdown’s Deadliest Boss was Scrapbeak

Scrapbeak being the most dangerous boss of Hunt did surprise me a bit. Scrapbeak was the first boss I had ever killed and found them to be quite easy. You can cheese them in and out of the door or simply light them on fire. I find the assassin to be a far bigger pain in my ass. Rotjaw is indeed a challenge, with the added difficulty of him being in an area of little cover, however, Rotjaw was not active in Hunt: Showdown for the majority of the year, so likely didn’t claim as many victims.

Various Stats about Hunt: Showdown
Hunt: Showdown Various Stats

Interesting to learn that:

  • 1.7 Million Fall Damage lead to death of hunters
  • 1.9 Millon Hunter’s Self-Exploded (myself included)
  • 197 hunters met their end with horses (didn’t know it was possible)

I would love to see more stats like these in future posts from the Hunt x/twitter.

The Three Most Dangerous Legendary Hunters from Hunt: Showdown
Hunt’s most dangerous legendary hunters/skins

The legendary hunters with the most kills were The Reptelilian, The Reaper, and Felis. Now a lot of this stat might not come from the advantage (or perceived advantage) of certain hunters having better natural camouflage. It is quite possible that some of the most dangerous Hunt players simply prefer them skewing the statistic. I see very little extra camouflage for each of these skins all around. The level of environment blending is definitely in a generalized tier listed from tier 1, tier 2, tier 3, and lastly legendary being the best. Any other advantages to me seem trivial.

Posting a “find the headsman” every day until Crytek fixes the skin {day 5}. Swipe for the solution <3

As anyone following the HuntShowdown Reddit knows, there is a great deal of hate (especially from NilleVanille) on the headsman. Perhaps this legendary hunter is not as OP as some people think.
